If you did not finish your tiki head, board game, Starry Night, Fun food sandwich, or caricature, please work on completing that today! Art activity options: (if you have completed your tiki head and board game) Option1: 1. On the home page of the art weebly, click on the emergency sub plans tab. 2. Choose one virtual art museum tour to view and one "how to draw" activity. Option 2: Choose one of the following art drawing challenges: 1. Draw a creepy insect 2. Draw a futuristic car or airplane 3. Draw a hybrid animal or dinosaur ( mix 2 animals/dinosaurs together to create your own unique creature. Option 4: 1. Create a color wheel with different items around your home. 2. Create a robot using found objects around your house.
January 19th-21st Project 1: Tiki Head day 1. 1.Draw tiki head 2. Add details to your tiki head 3. Trace over your pencil with black crayon and start to color
Day 2. 1. Finish coloring in your tiki head and details 2. Color or paint your background
PROJECT 2: BOARD GAME Synchronous Day 1: 1. Draw the pathway for your very own board game. 2. Add a title to your board game.
Asynchronous Day 2: 1. Fill in the spaces of your pathway. Examples, move forward 2 spaces, take a card, draw images. 2. Trace your drawing with black crayon or marker.
Synchronous Day 3: 1. Add detail on the outside of your board game. 2. Trace with black crayon or marker
Asynchronous Day 4: Step 1: Color in your board game!
Day 1: Synchronous Project 3: Starry Night with a twist Starry Night has 5 main parts: the large bush, the wind, the stars, the moon, and the village. You will be replacing these 5 parts with 5 parts from the theme of your choice (see example below) 1. Think of a theme to use to create your very own Starry Night. Theme examples could be animals, monsters, seasons, video game characters, music, etc. Think of a theme and practice drawing .
Day 2: Asynchronous 1. On your big white piece of paper, draw parts from your theme to replace the large bush, the moon, and the village.
Day 3: Synchronous 1. Draw parts from your theme to replace the wind and the stars. 2. Trace over your drawing with black crayon or marker. 3. Start to color
Day 4: Asynchronous 1. Finish coloring in your Starry Night parts and the background.
Project 4: "Fun Food" Sandwich Day 1: Synchronous 1. Practice drawing any fun food; cupcakes, candy, pizza, popsicles, etc. on a practice piece of paper. Day 2: Asynchronous Day 2: Start your "fun food" sandwich on the big piece of white construction paper. 1. Draw the top and bottom bread of your sandwich. 2. Draw the fun food of your choice starting from the bottom and work up to the top. Draw in layers and have your fun food overlap as you draw each layer.
Day 3: Synchronous 1. Continue adding layers of fun food to your sandwich. 2. Start to color your fun food sandwich. Day 4: Asynchronous 1. Finish coloring in your fun food sandwich and the background.
Day 1: Synchronous: Caricatures 1. Using your iPad search How to draw a caricature. Practice drawing the shape of your head, eyes, ears, nose and mouth. 2. Add any other details to your caricature.
Day 2: Asynchronous 1. Continue to add any details to your caricature and your background. 2. Start to color your caricature. Day 3: Synchronous 1. Finishing coloring in your caricature.
